The EMZ-8U stereo head differs from other EMZ series heads in enabling near vertical illumination with the required FL150/12 fiber optic light guide and FL150/115 power supply.

Otherwise it shares similar characteristics to the EMZ range. The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x (10x eyepieces) with dual-sided zoom controls. The field of view is 32mm-5.1mm with 10x eyepieces and the standard working distance is marginally longer then the EMZ5 at 110mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.

Available in binocular or trinocular format. Binocular is also available with click-stop detents for precise levels of magnification. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.

Eyepieces are not included with the head, but for convenience, you can select them when adding to cart.
